Ministry Support

Go to Settings and use the Members section. Enter each name as it appears on the church schedule. You can follow multiple members on one device.

Confirm that at least one saved member matches a name on the church schedule, then pull down on the Home screen to refresh. Check your internet connection if the schedule still does not appear.

Ministry sends server-based push reminders for upcoming assignments and personal duties. In Settings, you can choose reminder timings for each role. Notifications must be allowed in your device settings.

Open Settings and choose Calendar Sync. On iPhone, choose Apple Calendar or Google Calendar. On Android, connect Google Calendar. Ministry creates a separate calendar named Ministry and updates it when you tap Sync Now.

Ministry needs permission to create and manage the dedicated Ministry calendar. It also reads calendar-list metadata to find that calendar again across devices. It does not read events from unrelated calendars.

Tap the add button on the Home screen, enter the duty details and reminder timings, then save.

Removing the App deletes local settings. You can delete the Ministry calendar in your calendar app and revoke Google access from your Google Account. For deletion of backend information associated with your installation, email ministry.shigong@gmail.com.

Ministry processes followed member names, reminder preferences, an installation identifier, push-delivery information, personal duties, and limited first-party usage and reliability telemetry. Google Calendar access is optional. See the Privacy Policy for complete details.
